The version we build in, shaped by what your team tells us.
For years, building your own CRM only made sense for large companies. Designing it, building it, and keeping servers running cost too much, so most businesses signed up with Salesforce or the big name in their industry. Those products are built to sell to everyone, so they come with features for everyone. Your team spends all day looking at buttons they'll never click, and you pay for them every month.
That's changed. AI coding tools have cut the time it takes to build software, and cloud hosting means there are no servers to buy or babysit. For a lot of businesses, owning a CRM is now more cost-efficient than renting one, and it fits the way they work better.
We start with the CRM you already have. Your team knows what they rely on and what they work around. We keep what they like, add what's been missing, and leave out everything nobody uses.
The people who'll use the CRM every day see it early and often, and we adjust as we go. Every project moves through three stages.
The version we build in, shaped by what your team tells us.
A working copy your team tries out with real tasks before anything goes live.
The version you run your business on, with your data moved over.
We bring your records over from your current CRM using its export tools or its API, whichever your vendor allows.
That's up to you.
It lives in your own AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud account. We train your IT staff on it and point them to the right cloud training, so they can run it with confidence.
Already have servers of your own? We'll deploy it there and train your IT staff to maintain it.
A hosting company, which can be us, keeps it running, backed up, and up to date for a monthly fee.
It depends on how many people use it, what it needs to do, which systems it connects to, and how much data comes over. We quote based on how long it takes us to build with AI tools writing most of the code: a fixed price for smaller projects, a detailed estimate for larger ones. With no office or sales team to pay for, that quote is usually well below what a larger firm would charge. Hosting is a separate monthly cost.
Not sure what you're spending now? Our Salesforce Spend Estimator adds it up in a couple of minutes.
Not every business should leave its CRM. If what you're paying is reasonable and the CRM isn't slowing your team down, keep it. We'll tell you so.
The Cronin Group helped me develop custom software for my business. The project required them to quickly have a nuanced understanding of a niche professional need and develop a brand new type of software program to improve our workflows and outputs. Their team put the project together quickly, professionally, and most importantly, delivered a phenomenal product we use on a daily basis.
Yes. We use your CRM's export tools or its API, depending on what your vendor allows.
No. You can run it in your own cloud account or on your own servers, with your IT staff trained to maintain it, or have it managed for you.
Usually, yes. If the other software has an API or an export option, we can connect it.
Law firms and a medical billing company, among others. Before starting The Cronin Group, we spent more than ten years building healthcare software at Medecision.
What your team uses, what they work around, and what you pay. We'll tell you honestly whether building your own makes sense.
